Obituary of Michael Castillo Sr.

Our beloved Michael Castillo Sr. was called home, on Monday, July 25, 2022.

He is awaited in heaven by his parents, Guadalupe Castillo Sr., and Esperanza Monreal; and by his siblings, Sylvia Monreal, Maria Luisa Monreal, and Benita Gonzalez.

Michael has left behind his loving children, Michelle Castillo Barron and her husband Nicholas Barron Sr., and Michael Castillo Jr. and his wife LeeAnn Castillo; grandchildren, Nicholas Barron Jr., Nataly Barron, Oliver Barron, Amador Santizo and Evangeline Castillo; siblings, Esther Castillo, Earnestine Gonzalez, Guadalupe Castillo Jr., Esperanza C Bradshaw, Martin Botello, Veronica Bedford, Maria Terri Lopez, Ralph Castillo, Leonard Castillo Sr., and Edward Castillo;  as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Funeral services beginning at 12:00 P.M. at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home. 607 E. Anderson Ln. Austin, Texas, 78752. Following services, a celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. across from Martin Park at Town Lake.

 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
